Elise Peterson


Education Coordinator

Elise Peterson is the Education Coordinator at KUED, and oversees the Ready To Learn initiative and all education outreach. Elise joined KUED the summer of 2011 after receiving a Master of Arts in Child Advocacy at Montclair State University.

Elise oversees the Ready To Learn initiative, presents parenting workshops at Title I elementary schools and Head Start preschools around the state, and presents PBS content at conferences including UELMA, SUECON, URSA, and others.

Elise received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Westminster College and has taught preschool, second grade, and sixth grade in Utah and in New Jersey.
