Elizabeth Renda

Programming Assistant

Elizabeth Renda has worked in the Programming Department as viewer services representative, social media director and production assistant since November 2011. As part of working in viewer services she has the opportunity to interact with viewers who contact KUED by phone, email and social media to help viewers find solutions to their problems. She is also responsible for developing and managing social media content and campaigns for Facebook, Twitter and YouTube as well as collaborating with various departments for better social media integration across all platforms.

Before coming to KUED, Elizabeth worked on a presidential campaign as a social media coordinator and head of press and media relations. In addition to increasing the campaign’s social media followers by hundreds of thousands she also had the chance to gain valuable press contacts, working closely with national media outlets such as FOX News, CNN, MSNBC and Comedy Central.

Elizabeth graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelors of Science in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations in 2010 and has enjoyed every minute of working in the field since then. Training for marathons eats up most of her free time, but she also enjoys reading, cooking, playing Frisbee and watching too much TV with her husband.
