James Davie


Director of Programming

James Davie, Director of Programming, is responsible for the acquisition of content for KUED, putting together the station's broadcast schedules, and supervising KUED's excellent traffic, social media and viewer services personnel. He has been with the Programming Department since 1999, where he began as a traffic associate, fresh from graduating from the University of Utah with a degree in Mass Communication. He then worked his way up to Program Manager, and later Director of Programming. In 2010, he was elected to the Board of the Public Television Programmers' Association, an organization providing mentoring, networking and other opportunities to programmers throughout the PBS system. This year he is serving as President of that organization.
