About KUED

Taunja Baxter


Foundation and Grants Specialist

Taunja Baxter has been with KUED for thirteen years. She raises funds for KUED through foundations and grants and reports to the station’s generous funders how their gifts have been used.  She also helps with community outreach.

Before coming to KUED, she taught Art History at Salt Lake Community College and worked in Student Affairs for Penn State University. She received Associate and Bachelor degrees from BYU and completed coursework for an MA in Humanities.

She spends most of her free time raising three amazing kids - one who loves The Red Green Show, one who loves NOVA, and one who loves Masterpiece.
