About KUED

Delores Dinsmore

Delores Dinsmore works as KUED’s part-time individual & planned giving coordinator. She has worked at KUED since 2006. 

She spent five years in the corporate advertising arena working in television, radio and at an advertising agency in both the general and Hispanic markets.  Delores then spent five years in non-profit marketing in the zoo and aquarium industry, working and traveling throughout North, Central and South America as well as Africa.  A former park ranger, her experience in government public relations includes work for Texas Parks and Wildlife, Utah State Parks, and national parks including Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, Zion and Grand Canyon.  Her professional awards for bilingual marketing, advertising and communications include multiple ADDY’s from the American Advertising Federation, SAMI Innnovator Awards from the American Marketing Association, and a ProLiner award from Women In Communications, Inc., among others.

Delores received her bachelor’s degree from Trinity University and she attended graduate school at Incarnate Word College, both in San Antonio, Texas.

A native Castilian Spanish speaker, she is also a professional freelance Spanish translator and voiceover talent. Delores enjoys skiing, camping, canoeing, and hiking.
