NewSpace Entertainment is a Salt Lake City based concert and theatrical presenter working throughout the US and Canada.

With 16 locally-based employees NewSpace has worked in the Utah market for over twenty years under a variety of names included The Space Agency, Magicworks and, most recently, Broadway Across America - Utah. While the names have changed three things have remained consistent; the partners who run the company John Ballard, Bruce Granath and Steve Boulay, the great local staff and the company's commitment to Utah and KUED.

For those of you unfamiliar with NewSpace some of their more successful productions in Utah include record-breaking runs of the Broadway hitsThePhantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Riverdance and Mamma Mia!, sold out evenings with humorist David Sedaris and Blues legend BB King and one-time only appearances of stars Jose Carreras to Liza Minnelli. Looking forward NewSpace Entertainment, through their Broadway presenting partnership Broadway Across America-Utah, has announced that the smash NY hit Wicked is coming to Salt Lake City as part of the 2008-2009 Broadway series.

On the community involvement front NewSpace is proud to be an underwriter of KUED and, through their patron-supported Broadway in Utah Education Fund, to support theatrical scholarships at the University of Utah and Utah Youth Theatre, student productions at Kingsbury Hall and theater education at nearly a dozen local schools. "Being a part of the fabric of our community; our arts, culture and education, is something we all value tremendously." says President Steve Boulay. "That we can do these things as part of our broader mission to bring the best in entertainment to Utah makes living here even all that much better."
