Alpine Art and Frame, a custom frame shop and fine-art gallery featuring local artists, is located on South Temple in historic Backer's Square. In celebration of Alpine's 25 years in business, KUED members are invited to stop in for a free 5 x 7 unique ready-made frame with any custom frame order, as well as 20% off framing orders.

If you’re looking for the perfect frame for your favorite photo, poster or wedding picture, you’ll find it at Alpine Art. For more than 25 years, the associates of Alpine Art have taken great pride in providing their clients with quality framing work and also in serving as a resource for interior designers, architects, businesses and hospitals that need artwork delivered and installed.

Owners Robin and Elizabeth Grey take customer service seriously. Store manager and long-time employee Apryll Killpack said it is important to the owners that people feel good about the service they receive. “The atmosphere in the store is always positive and the employees love their jobs and are happy to work here,” Killpack said.

As a locally-owned business, Alpine Art, located at 430 E. South Temple in Salt Lake City, has a strong clientele base from the avenues and federal heights neighborhoods. As a long-time supporter of KUED, the employees of Alpine Art support KUED’s mission and appreciate that the programs offered are “educational, different from other media and entertaining.” Killpack said Alpine Art really believes in giving to community organizations.

The company began underwriting arts and culture programs on KUED in the mid-’90s. “We are thrilled with the exposure we receive from our underwriting,” said Killpack, who notes that Alpine Art customers frequently mention that they have noticed underwriting credits on KUED.

“The way we do business is very similar to that of KUED – we both believe in providing a quality product to our clients and in giving them something they won’t find somewhere else,” Killpack commented. “We want to know that when we see our work in a customer’s workplace or home that we can be proud of what we see. KUED’s programming also has that level of pride.”
