The mission of the Salt Lake City Arts Council, a division of Salt Lake City Department of Community and Economic Development, is to expand public awareness, access and participation in the arts through the support of artists and arts organizations in Salt Lake City. The City Arts Council's home is the Art Barn in Reservoir Park.  Among the programs and services provided by the City Arts Council are City Arts Grants, Brown Bag Concert Series Literary Program (Guest Writers Series), Living Traditions Festival, Twilight Concert Series, Visual Arts Program (Finch Lane and Park Galleries), Public Art Program, and general information and technical assistance.
