Each month, R.C. Willey receives letters from customers who have moved into states and areas far from an R.C. Willey store. These letters all pose the same question: “When are you going to build an R.C. Willey here?”
For over three quarters of a century, it has been providing things for Utah homes. Over the last few years it has expanded out of Utah into Reno, Las Vegas, Boise and Sacramento. When new stores are opened, new customers’ comments include “ . . . we’ve never seen a store like this before.” With everything for your home all under one roof, R.C. Willey offers an enormous selection of fine home furnishings, floor coverings, mattresses, electronics and major appliances.
“Where new stores are built, we try to improve the lives of those in the community”, said Clark Yospe, vice president of marketing. “Not only is R.C. Willey a wonderful place to work, offering employment to the local community, but we also bring great values to things that improve our homes and our lives.”
Indeed, R.C. Willey has proven its dedication to improving communities in Utah and beyond — including the many years they have helped underwrite the popular Antiques Roadshow, along with other prime-time programming on KUED.
Yospe compares the furniture superstore’s mission to that of KUED. “We’re bringing our customers a service they want,” he says. “At the same time, customers see that we care, that we’re involved in their communities.”
Giving the customers what they want has been a large factor in the growth of R.C. Willey as the largest home furnishing store west of the Mississippi.
R.C. Willey proudly supports the following program(s) and/or projects on KUED:
