KUED and all Utah broadcasters have permanently shut off their analog signals, making the switch to digital TV. If at least one television in your home has not been converted to digital, you will have no television signal. For each TV in your home that receives reception over an antenna, you will need a converter box, or you will need to replace each set with a digital TV set. If every TV in your home is hooked up to cable or satellite, you don't need to do anything.
If you have cable or satellite, you'll continue to get the same channels you already have. BUT, if you want all the digital and HD channels, you'll need to upgrade to your provider's digital package and pay a higher monthly fee. AND not every KUED and other local digital channel may be carried by your service provider. Check with them.
We’re committed to helping you make the switch as painlessly as possible. Many of your questions will be answered here. If you still have questions, please call KUED Viewer Services at 581-3064.
