How to Watch KUED Digital TV

You can make the switch to digital television by following one of the three easy steps by June 12, 2009.

• Purchase a new TV set. Purchase a new television set with a built-in digital converter.  All sets produced after March 1, 2007 have them.  You can get some digital sets at retailers for as low as $99.  Use it with your existing antenna (including outdoor antennas and rabbit ears).
• Subscribe to cable or satellite. If you already subscribe to cable or satellite, you won’t need to worry about the switch.  Cable or satellite systems will continue to be compatible with your existing set.  Check with your provider to see if they carry all the local broadcast stations.  We have worked with KUED corporate sponsor Comcast to make our digital signals available to their subscribers.  You can see KUED Channel 7 on Comcast channel 7 in standard definition and on Comcast digital channel 658 in high definition. Our Spanish language channel, V-me is available on Comcast digital channel 108.  KUED's World channel, broadcast over the air on 7.2, is now available on Comcast channel 115.

KUED's primary channel is available in standard definition on Comcast Cable's channel 7 in the basic tier and in high definition on channel 658. KUED’s World channel is available over the air.
