Utah Mobile Vet Center Outreach

The Mobile Vet Center (MVC) is a new program of the Readjustment Counseling Service more commonly known as the Vet Center. Vet Centers are a division of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with about 300 “brick and mortar” Vet Centers and 50 Mobile Vet Centers around the country. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat Veterans and their families. Vet Center Readjustment Counselors also provide military sexual trauma counseling, and, grief and bereavement counseling for families struggling with the loss of an immediate family member serving in a combat theater.

The MVC and Readjustment Counselor Travis Larsen will visit Elko Monday, June 18^th from noon to 5:00PM, and Tuesday, June 19^th from 8:00AM to noon. Travis will be at the VFW Post both days (located at 731 VFW Way in Elko).

The MVC will be in Ely Wednesday morning 8:00AM to noon, and will be located west of Anderson’s Food Town.
