Everyone is invited to attend the UMFA’s annual Kwanzaa celebration. Participate in children’s art workshops, music, dance, and poetry from around the world and enjoy great food. There will be free admission to the museum on that day but we encourage you to bring a can of food for the Utah Food Bank. The Kwanzaa Celebration has become an important African American holiday, and has honored both African traditions with American customs, that is celebrated from December 26 – January 1.
