First Night Salt Lake 2008

Start making your New Year's plans now to welcome 2008!

The 15th Annual First Night celebration will take place downtown at the Gallivan Plaza from 6pm to midnight on New Years Eve.

Ring in the New Year in the heart of downtown with First Night festivities, Louisiana roots music, interactive art, entertaining performers, and a fireworks extravaganza!

From the music Mecca that is New Orleans, the All-Star Voodoo Revue, featuring Papa Mali, Henry Butler, and Big Chief Monk Boudreaux offer funky rhythms—and Hot 8 Brass Band marches to the beats in the First Night Second Line.

Advance discount tickets go on sale December 15th at select Albertsons locations and The Gateway customer service kiosk for $8. Tickets will also available day of at the event for $10. For group ticket sales contact Andrew Wallace at andrew@downtownslc.org or call 801-333-1102.
