Salt Lake City, Utah - December 19, 2007 – (a)perture gallery announces their grand opening exhibit January 17th – February 15th, 2008 with a premiere exhibition from local photographers Anne Cummings Anderson and Heidi Gress. The series, hunger as metaphor, is an existential photographic exhibit exploring the many manifestations of hunger. hunger as metaphor is presented by (a)perture marketing, a media and branding firm with extensive experience in placing television, radio and print advertising, brand identity, new media content, and special event planning.

Proceeds from the exhibit will benefit the Utah Food Bank and help raise awareness of their programs beyond the holiday season. The Utah Food Bank is dedicated to building caring communities by responding to basic human needs. Each program is designed to meet the needs of low-income individuals, families, seniors and people with disabilities and to help improve the quality of life. www.utahfoodbank.org
