KUED's involvement in the community and its long-standing commitment to diversity and inclusion has been recognized with two important honors from community organizations. 

The Inclusion Center for Community and Justice (formerly NCJJ) is recognizing KUED at its 2008 Humanitarian Awards Dinner on March 13 for the station's dedication to compassion and understanding for all people.  The station also will be honored with a Pete Suazo Social Justice Award for Public Awareness and Education at a special dinner on March 14.

Smith.
