Drawing on existing HD video executed for previous KUED local productions (and in many instances not previously included in actual broadcasts), John Howe brings a new addition to KUED's series of programs showcasing the natural beauty and landscape of Utah and the west. Utah Serenade uses video shot for projects like Wild River, Utah’s National Parks, Alta, Butch Cassidy and others to paint a new and compelling portrait of the state’s unique, scenic and wild areas. The program is set to classical music in the model of Yellowstone Serenade and Desert Serenade. It captures the state through four seasons, and offers the viewer spectacular visuals from mountain tops to powerful rivers, from national parks to desert isolation.
