KUED Programs

This program reveals how teens can turn around negative feelings and unhealthy behaviors by seeking out the natural high of positive activities. Empowers young teens to become active participants in their own lives... and get a natural high. After viewing this program students will recognize risks of using drugs and alcohol to get high; learn how endorphins from exercise create a natural high; identify activities that can produce a natural high (sports, drama, art, commitment to a cause, helping others). From replacing negative feelings with the endorphin high that comes from exercise to joining a club instead of using smoking as a way of feeling part of a group, this program shows students the "natural way."
