Healthy Circulatory and Respiratory Systems

This video program explores the role of the body's circulatory and respiratory systems, emphasizing things we can do to maintain these important systems. Regular exercise, healthy eating habits, and not smoking are just a few of the things people should do to maintain healthy circulatory and respiratory systems. Some of the more common health problems associated with these systems are discussed including heart disease, high blood pressure, upper respiratory infections, and asthma. Other terminology includes: cardiovascular system, heart, blood, blood vessels, lungs, and lung cancer.

Healthy Skeletal and Muscular Systems

This program reviews what our body does with the food we consume, and covers the major digestive organs and processes. The fundamental processes by which the body disposes of various types of wastes via the excretory system are also investigated. Healthy Nervous and Endocrine Systems

This program explores the essential components and functions of the nervous system while also investigating the endocrine system. The role the endocrine system plays in controlling certain body functions is investigated, as are specific endocrine problems.
