Dust Bowl

In this series, Ken Burns and producer Dayton Duncan chronicle the Dust Bowl in all its complexities and profound human drama. It is both an oral history, using interviews of 30 survivors, and an historical accounting of what happened and why during the 1930s on the southern Plains, using first person accounts, narration, comments by historians, and restored photographs, footage and music from the period.
