What
is Viewers' Choice?
Every Friday night from 11:00 p.m.
to 2:00 a.m. KUED airs the most requested shows from the previous
week. If you would like to vote for Viewers' Choice, e-mail our Viewer Services department,
or call us at (801) 581-3064. If your show is chosen, we will call you
back and tell you what time it will be on. See what shows have been chosen for this week!
Why
does Viewers' Choice only include shows from the previous week?
Viewer's
Choice is limited to shows from the previous week due to
broadcast right limitations.
Do you have a catalogue
of all PBS shows?
There
is not a complete catalogue of all PBS shows, but you will be able
to find a great deal of information regarding PBS shows, including
if they are available for purchase at the PBS website www.pbs.org.
A complete list of local KUED productions can be found at Our
Productions. If there is something specific you're looking for
and are unable to locate it, send us an e-mail to our Viewer Services department or call us at (801) 581-3064 and we'll try to help you find it.
Do
you keep copies of all the stuff you have ever aired?
We keep shows to which we have current broadcast rights or those
which we plan on airing again, but we do not maintain a complete
library of all shows aired.
How
far in advance do you schedule programs?
KUED schedules
its programs about a month or two in advance.
Can
you rebroadcast shows?
Yes, but it is dependent on the
broadcast rights we have to the show. If you see a show that you'd
like rebroadcasted, you can vote for it for Viewers' Choice via
e-mail our Viewer Services department, or
call us at (801) 581-3064.
Does
each program on KUED only air once?
This is dependent
on the show and its broadcast rights. We have the rights to re-air
some programs 2 or 3 times, while other shows we are only allowed
to air once.
Can
I purchase a copy of the show you aired?
Many
PBS and local KUED productions are available for purchase. Check out Shop KUED to see the KUED productions, and Shop PBS for PBS productions. Because of broadcast rights issues, some
productions that have been aired (other than those produced by KUED)
cannot be sold or distributed. If you can't find what you are looking
for on our website, contact Viewer Services and we will try to find
out if copies are available from the producing station and provide
you with the contact information.
Where can I buy a KUED production?
You can browse our productions at Shop
KUED, and also submit an order via our secure server while you're
there. Or call us at (801) 581-3276 or (800) 477-KUED or e-mail

Can I schedule a tour of the station?
KUED provides station tours to small groups. If you'd like to arrange a tour, call us at (801)
585-6013 or e-mail us.
