KUED-TV PRODUCTION INTERN

September to December, 2017

KUED-TV, Utah’s premier Public Televsion station, will host one promising student for a semester internship. The Intern will be mentored by award-winning, media professionals and gain practical, hands on experience in field-based documentary work; studio-based series work; and in the creation of on-line content.

DURATION: The KUED Production Department internship is designed as a semester experience for pre-professional, undergraduate students. The internship period will begin in early September, 2017 and end in early December, 2017. The intern will be scheduled to work 10 to 15 hours per week, including Friday mornings. Interns will be paid $10/hour.

REQUIREMENTS: The successful applicant will be an enrolled student in good standing at a college or university. Applicants from all academic departments and all levels of study are encouraged to apply. First preference will be given to undergraduate students.

EXPERIENCE: Experience and knowledge in Adobe Premiere editing, research, and database management are strongly preferred. Students must be available to work Friday mornings for the weekly taping of “The Hinckley Report”.
