UEN IVC Logistics Coordinator
Provides complex administrative support for IVC Depart. Coordinates and oversees the work of state wide Logistics schedulers.
Typically 8 to 5 but may need to extend depending on work load.
Salary Range: $30900 to $57100 / Year
Provides complex administrative support for IVC Depart. Coordinates and oversees the work of statewide Logistics schedulers.
Provides customer service support for the Utah Education Network IVC system. Keeps track of 300 plus classes a day using multiple software packages with divergent technologies. Works with higher and public education institutions, state entities, non-profit and the general public to provide quality video services. Resolves daily problems with distance education sites for IVC events. Runs reports, reconciles billing for statewide system service contracts, inventory tracking verification and other department related billing. Schedules courses over the IVC system. Schedules Ad Hoc events for UEN systems and remote global systems. Provides assistance to statewide stakeholder IVC system coordinators. Provides training on web based TMS scheduling program process, policy and procedures. Generates reports and maintains databases. Must demonstrate creativity, initiative, innovation and resourcefulness to successfully complete assigned projects.
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency required. Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

A basic understanding of IP networks; problem solving skills; ability to multitask during periods of high stress; and conflict resolution. Working knowledge of interactive video conferencing systems. Background in Web system design but not necessarily HTML coding.
This position may require the successful completion of a criminal background check and/or drug screen.

Some travel to stake holder sites will be required . Training out of state may be required. May be asked to attend out of state conferences.
