The KUED Production Department selects student interns for a semester internship several times a year. Application deadlines and schedules may vary between internship positions. Please contact via email only.
KUED-TV, Utah’s premier Public Television station, will host a promising student for a semester internship. The Intern will be mentored by award-winning, media professionals and gain practical, hands on experience in field-based documentary work; studio-based series work; and in the creation of on-line content.
The internship is designed as a semester experience for pre-professional, undergraduate students. The successful applicant will be an enrolled student in good standing at a college or university. Applicants from all academic departments and all levels of study are encouraged to apply. First preference will be given to undergraduate students.
Experience and knowledge in Adobe Premiere editing, research, and database management are strongly preferred.
The intern will be scheduled to work 10 to 15 hours per week, including Friday mornings. Students must be available to work Friday mornings for the weekly taping of “The Hinckley Report”.
Interns will be paid if funding is available.
