Erik B. Rolstad works as the Director Individual & Planned Giving at KUED. Erik is a member of the stations develop department. He works directly with the members of the KUED Broadcasters Club, who make annual gifts of support to the station in the amount of $1,000 and above. He also manages KUED’s planned giving program and coordinates major gifts of support for special projects (e.g.: local production sponsorships, capital campaign donations, endowment gifts, etc.). He has worked at KUED since 2007.
Prior to joining the KUED team, Erik served as the Executive Director of SPLORE, a local non-profit that provides accessible outdoor recreation to individuals with disabilities throughout Utah and surrounding regions. He has also worked as a school social worker, experiential educator, therapist and wilderness guide. Through the years, Erik has specialized in obtaining funding for and implementing a wide range of public and private social service projects.
Erik currently serves on the board of trustees for the Utah Hemophilia Foundation. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts from the Concordia College of Minnesota, a masters in Social Work from New Mexico State University, and is currently working towards obtaining a doctorate degree in Social Work from the University of Utah.
