WETA - DTV Magazine insert (Dec. 2008)

(Posted 12/02/2008) This gorgeous full-color print piece was inserted in the December WETA Magazine. It is designed to inform viewers about the programming currently available on WETA’s four digital channels. The piece will entice people to sample programming on The WETA Channel, WETA HD, WETA Create and WETA Kids. The insert also features information on how to prepare for the February 17 deadline to transition to all-digital broadcasting.

WKAR - "A New Definition"

(Informative feature article in the WKAR November 2007 guide)
WKAR viewers have been able to watch high defi nition since we launched WKAR-DT
(now known as WKAR-HD) on January 15, 2004. But until recently only a limited number
of people had high definition television sets. That’s changing quickly.

WKAR - The "WKARLife" Digital Channel

WKAR Life offers lifestyles programming during daytime hours and a primetime
selection of PBS programs.

WKAR Life is also available on Comcast channel 18 (greater Lansing)
and channel 27 (East Lansing/Meridian).

We will now carry complete or partial listings for the digital stations, immediately
following the complete listings for WKAR-TV in Fine Tuning. Please note, many
programs on the digital channels are also on WKAR-23 at different times,
offering you more viewing options.

WKAR: More Channels Offer More WKAR

More than once we have heard “I love WKAR—it has so many good programs with no commercials!
I wish there were more stations like that I could watch!”

Well, beginning November 4, you can, if you have a digital television set with an
antenna, digital cable or a set-top converter box for your existing television set.
