Workshop: Media Literacy

Kids watching too much TV? Learn ways to make TV part of your life, not rule your life. This workshop offers tips and tools for parents and caregivers with fun ideas based on your favorite PBS Kids program.

Television is a powerful tool. The average child in the United States watches 4 hours of TV a day. The purpose of this workshop is to promote media literacy among parents, teachers and care-providers and encourage appropriate use of media in an instructional environment.
