    - Health Communication. Publications about media literacy and issues relevant to children’s television can be easily accessed and viewed online.
  • BIG BLUE DOT TREND UPDATE is an e-mail newsletter designed to keep you up-to-date on the latest developments in the kids’ market. The newsletter is full of information on kids’ trends compiled by the staff of BIG BLUE DOT, a design studio devoted to kids’ culture, specializing in strategic design services for print, broadcast, and the Web.
  • KIDSNET Media News is a quarterly resource of U.S. and international media awards, books and publications, events and conferences, new technology, public service projects, research, and services related to children’s media. KIDSNET Media News is published in the February, May, August, and November issues of the monthly KIDSNET Media Guide.
  • Mediaweek is an on-line news source that reports top stories and breaking news about the worlds of television, radio, print, and news media.
  • Roper Starch Worldwide is a well-known market research firm that provides news, information, and research on media-related topics.
  • The University of Oregon Media Literacy Online Project is a user-friendly, comprehensive collection of resources, links, conference schedules, and discussions regarding media literacy and the influence of media on children.
  • WebSmart Kids is a nonprofit educational initiative that helps families use the Internet safely and effectively. The WebSmart Kids site includes an interactive questionnaire that lets parents gauge their knowledge of the Internet, media literacy and Internet safety. It also teaches parents about media literacy and how to help their children apply media literacy skills to the Internet.
