Thanks to viewer support during KUED's last fund drive, the station has purchased the Sherlock Holmes series with Jeremy Brett, which will air Sundays at 8 p.m. beginning March 9.
In "The Dancing Men," airing March 9, Hilton Cubitt, from Derbyshire, consults Holmes about a series of dancing-men picture messages his wife is receiving. On their wedding day, she had made Cubitt promise he would ask her nothing about her past, but she now seems to be terrified.
Holmes has to decipher the code of the matchstick men and get to the bottom of the dreadful murder which lies behind it.
"The Jeremy Brett episodes are a longtime favorite, and we're happy that viewer response made it possible for us to bring them back," says KUED program manager James Davie.
