KUED has received a first-time award nomination from the Rocky Mountain Regional Emmy Awards for Overall Station Excellence. The first-time award recognizes exceptional achievement in the local production efforts of a station, rigorously matched against the highest national professional standards.
"All of the station efforts by so many members of our KUED team make this level of performance possible," says KUED Director of Production Ken Verdoia of the nomination announced last night in Phoenix, Arizona.
KUED productions were also nominated in eight other categories. KUED nominees include:

" It is great to see the station's good work publicly acknowledged in this way. Those of us who enjoy KUED's work on a regular basis know just how good it is, but it is nice to have that validated by the Emmy panels from outside our market."
The final award recipients will be announced October 24th in Phoenix, AZ.
