Beginning Thursday, March 25, KUED will air the hilarious British comedy series, After You've Gone, weeknights at 10:00 p.m. Created by Fred Barron and staring Nicholas Lyndhurst, Celia Imrie, Dani Harmer and Ryan Sampson, After You've Gone was shot in-front of a live audience and praised for its spot-on situational comedy. The series replaces 'allo, 'allo in the KUED schedule.
When Jimmy Venable's (Nicholas Lyndhurst) ex-wife Ann decides to move to Africa to help after a natural disaster, Jimmy has to move back into the home to look after the kids, Molly and Alex. The plot thickens when Ann's opinionated, widowed mother, Diana Neal (Celia Imrie), decides to help and also moves into the home, despite her dislike of ex-son-in-law Jimmy.
Fashion-obsessed Molly is an intelligent girl who sees herself as the only adult in the family, while her brother Alex is bright but has constantly changing ideas. Jimmy's girlfriend, Siobhan Casey, a hairdresser, thinks Jimmy doesn't pay her enough attention.
"We hope viewers will join this talented cast for fun filled and hilariously cynical episodes as the trials and tribulations of this not-so-conventional family unfold," says KUED Director of Programming, James Davie.
