Salt Lake County Aging ServicesIn addition to the links and options offered here, we encourage you to call The Caregiver Support program at (801) 468-2460 for one-on-one assistance in care planning and management. We also offer support groups and classes (either in the community or at worksites).
This program is funded through federal, state, and county taxes. There is no charge to family caregivers. Limited respite and supplemental services are also available.
State of Utah Human Services, Division of Adult and Aging Services
We administer a wide variety of home and community-based services for Utah residents who are 60 or older. Programs and services are primarily delivered by a network of 12 Area Agencies on Aging which reach all geographic areas of the state. Our goal is to provide services that allow people to remain independent.
