in production of long-format documentaries for local and national PBS broadcasts,
Nancy Green has co-produced such notable KUED documentaries as Joe
Hill, Utah:
The Struggle for Statehood, Brigham
Young, and The
Frontier Photographers.
She has worked on numerous award-winning projects at KUED. For her work on The Frontier Photographers Green received the 1998 Rocky Mountain Emmy for Individual Achievement in Editing. Let the Women Vote!, a documentary co-produced by Green, was honored with the 1998 Gracie Award. Other recognitions include New York Film Festival, IRIS, Utah Broadcasters Association, Utah State Historical Society, and Society of Professional Journalists awards.
A native of New Jersey, Green moved to the Salt Lake valley for its famous snow and has been a part of KUED since 1993. She has worked on numerous award-winning projects at KUED and KUTV. Her recognitions include Rocky Mountain Emmy and IRIS awards, in addition to Utah Broadcasters Association, Utah State Historical Society, and Society of Professional Journalists awards.
In addition to experience in the television medium, Green has worked on the motion pictures Rubin & Ed (1990 New Line Cinema) and A Midnight Clear (1991 A&M Films).
Green received a B.A. in Film Studies from the University of Utah in 1990. She has also studied Neuropsychology at the University of Massachusetts. Green lives in Salt Lake City with her black cat, Spike, and her personal jazz musician, Frank.
