April 1957: A survey crew of the Tri-Dam Company works on the right canyon wall at the bridge site, locating bridge points for the Kiewit-Judson Pacific Murphy Company bridge Contractors. The surveyors help facilitate the construction of what will become a 700-foot steel arch bridge spanning Glen Canyon 900 feet below the dam.
