Pam has spent the last 30 years at Viewmont Elementary School making sure young children develop, progress, and grow academically, socially and emotionally. Recognizing that students learn differently, Pam adapts her teaching methods. For example, one student couldn’t understand abstract numbers and letters, but was a very gifted artist. Pam had him do his math assignments with pictures. By the end of the year he had mastered math. She measures student success not in test scores, but in seeing her young students find joy in learning and discovering.
