This week the Utah NOW team travels down to Spring City for an on-location edition of Utah NOW.
Years ago the interstate bypassed Spring City here in Sanpete County, which didn't do much for the economy, but it did preserve the authentic character and the buildings of this pioneer settlement. This week on Utah NOW we're profiling this unique community. We're talking about its art, its history, and its challenges for the future.
Read transcripts of Doug’s extended interviews with Lee and Joe Bennion (.docs).
The Friends of Historic Spring City website is dedicated to preserving, protecting and promoting the historic environment of the Spring City area.
Joseph and Lee Udall Bennion's website, Horseshoe Mountain Pottery, features their studios and journals.
