Lo Pendleton, Social Worker
When I accepted a position with home care, hospice was part of the job
description. My initial thought was, "Yes, I have some experience.
I can do this." But it didn't take me long to realize I was home.
As a hospice social worker, it is gratifying to see a struggling patient
(and family) make progress toward their goals and, of course, toward the
ultimate goal. I consider it an honor and privilege to be a part of a
process that is so sacred, so personal.
