Wedding Reception Traditions
Although many Polynesians celebrate weddings in a traditional Western religious ceremony, many also include traditional Island festivities. Incorporating Island wedding traditions provides another opportunity for community members to gather and remember their shared heritage and experiences and teach the younger generations the ways of the Islands, American-style.
