In addition to the Skull Valley Band, Private Fuel Storage and the State of Utah, many other groups and organizations have a stake in the proposal to store high-level radioactive waste in Utah's Skull Valley.

HEAL Utah

HEAL Utah (Healthy Environment Alliance of Utah) is an alliance of citizens and organizations united in an effort to protect the public from the risks of transporting, storing and disposing of nuclear and toxic wastes.

HEAL Utah is currently working to oppose plans by the federal government and private interests to dump much of the nation's nuclear waste in Utah.

The Nuclear Control Institute

The Nuclear Control Institute (NCI) is an independent research and advocacy center specializing in problems of nuclear proliferation. Non-partisan and nonprofit, they monitor nuclear activities worldwide and pursue strategies to halt the spread and reverse the growth of nuclear arms.

The Nuclear Energy Agency

The Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) assists its member countries, including the United States, in maintaining and further developing, the scientific, technological and legal bases required for a safe, environmentally friendly and economical use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

The Nuclear Energy Institute

The Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) is a nonprofit association that stays abreast of the latest regulatory and Congressional activities involving nuclear power, such as the ongoing questions of where to store spent fuel. NEI’s objective is to ensure the formation of policies that promote the beneficial uses of nuclear energy and technologies in the United States and around the world.
