This week on Utah NOW, we offer an inside look at The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Brent Jeffs, nephew of jailed FLDS leader Warren Jeffs has written a memoir of his experience growing up in the polygamous sect. The story is about power and sex and the dark consequences of religious extremism. (Rebroadcast)

I am impressed with Brent Jeffs and his willingness to not only write his story but to discuss it on television to a wide audience. He is to be commended on his bravery for the above, and especially for leaving the FLDS. I am ordering his book tonight, and I wish him success in whatever he chooses to do with the rest of his life. He is a bright, well spoken young man, and I hope you will relay my comments to him.

(FYI for Doug)
I just wanted to mention that many of the LDS faith also do not believe in dinosaurs and the age of the earth. I found this rather startling years ago (when I joined the faith). Interesting program - thanks!
