It's the story of Ken, a young Japanese-American imprisoned by his country in an internment camp and expected to prove his loyalty. The play explores the boundaries in a society's drive to feel secure.

The biggest thing behind the internment which no one talks about is if they'd not taken the Japanese out of California - untold number would have been killed. They were safer in the camps. It was bad for them in some ways but good in others.
