This week on Utah NOW a conversation with Richie Ramone, one of the drummers with the influential punk rock band The Ramones. He was in Utah recently performing his original arrangement of Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story. As you can imagine Richie's take on the classic is packed with percussion. We'll talk about music, his life and life with The Ramones.
Richie Ramone played at the Tanner Summer Series with Southwest Symphony Orchestra's "Broadway Under the Stars". He was awesome. We were spellbound by his talent. It was so wonderful. I yelled start overas we clapped and cheered.

I just thought that was a really good show that Doug Fabrizio put on with the Ramones drummer. It was way sick and you know what, I'm a big punk rock fan I think the next time you have a pledge I can guarantee you I'll pledge money.

This is the best Richie Ramone interview I've seen so far. Doug Fabrizio asked all the right questions.
