Program Details

This month Governor Jon M. Huntsman Jr. discussed the ongoing issue of Public Education Vouchers and if Utah will be a battleground for this issue, and how the two voucher bills work together and compete against each other. The governor also discussed the convergence of immigration and education issues.

Other issues raised in the press conference include the status of the Legacy Highway and the different transportation options along the Wasatch Front, new appointments to state education boards and commissions (with extensive discussion on the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Commission), and the high price of gas.
