Kathleen Weiler Writer and Producer, Utah's African-American Voices Kathleen Weiler, owner of KW Video Production, is a local, independent television writer/producer/director with over 20 years in the public relations and communications business. Her career has covered all facets of communication. Weiler's corporate experience includes positions as Director of Audiovisual Communication for the United States Telephone Association in Washington, D.C. and Manager of Video Communication for US WEST Communication in Salt Lake City. In addition, Kathleen Weiler held positions as Producer/Director of 16mm Motion Pictures for the Utah State Office of Education and Operations Manager for KUER public radio. Kathleen Weiler has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and a Masters of Education degree from the University of Utah. For KUED, Weiler recently scripted and produced the award-winning documentary, Probing the Genetic Universe, the Technology Navigator series, and UtahLink. Over the years, Weiler's client base has included Fleming Companies -- Oklahoma City; Pacific Bell -- San Francisco; Food Marketing Institute -- Washington, D.C.; Satellite Broadcasting & Communications Association -- Washington, D.C.; United Telecom -- Kansas City; Show Management & Services -- Chicago; the Veterans Administration -- Salt Lake City; and US West Communication -- Salt Lake City.
