Utah's African-American Voices




A resident of Vernal, Utah, "Speck" Williams was a fisherman, ferry operator, coal miner, and ranch hand.

In the 1890s, Williams was acquainted with ranchers and outlaws throughout Northeastern Utah, including Butch Cassidy.
