Greg Hudnell

Gregory Hudnell

Director of Student Services, Provo School District and Founder of the HOPE Task Force
Greg Hudnall was born in Illinois and served a mission to the Las Vegas Mission in 1979. He received his Associate Degree from Ricks College, his Bachelors from BYU and his Masters from the University of Utah.He is married to MiLinda Hodson of Orem and they have four children.Greg was principal of Independence High School for 11 years and is currently the Director of Student Services for Provo City School District. Greg has serves as a past Provo City Council member for 8 years and is past president of the Provo Rotary club.His hobbies include tandem biking with his wife and spending time with his children.

Sherri Wittwer

Sherri D. Wittwer

Executive Director of the Utah Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness
Sherri D. Wittwer is the Executive Director of NAMI Utah (the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Utah). Sherri received a Bachelors degree in English and a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Utah. Prior to becoming the Executive Director, Sherri worked as the Director of Development for NAMI Utah. Sherri received a detailed understanding of the mental health system when she worked for Salt Lake County as a management analyst where she conducted a mental health needs assessment. She has also enjoyed a career as a technical writer, a freelance writer and is a published author. Sherri has worked with a number of community agencies and organizations in a variety of capacities. Sherri has the "lived experience" of having family members who have a mental illness and is personally familiar with the difficulties many consumers and family members face.

Michelle Moskos

Michelle Moskos, M.P.H., Ph.D.

Intermountain Injury Control Research Center and Co-Investigator for the Utah Youth Suicide Study
Dr. Moskos is a research instructor in the University of Utah School of Medicine, in the Department of Pediatrics, at the Intermountain Injury Control Research Center , with a career focus in Suicidology. Dr. Moskos has served as a Principal Investigator for the Utah Youth Suicide Study since 2001; this study was initiated in 1994 at the Utah Department of Health. In 2004, Dr. Moskos joined the faculty in the University of Utah School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, at the Intermountain Injury Control Research Center to conduct further research in the field of suicide prevention. In 2001, Dr. Moskos began working as a co-investigator for the Utah Youth Suicide Study with Dr. Doug Gray in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Utah. The study is in its 12th year, and Dr. Moskos is responsible for managing the current phase, a treatment study that provides rapid access to mental health services for teenage males in Third District Juvenile Court, those youth who are at highest risk for suicide in Utah. Dr. Michelle Moskos received her Masters in Public Health and Health Services Administration through the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in 1997 and her Doctorate through the Department of Health Promotion and Education in 2000 at the University of Utah.

Doug Gray

Douglas Gray, M.D.

Associate Professor and Training Director, University of Utah, Co-Investigator for the Utah Youth Suicide Study
Dr. Douglas D. Gray received his baccalaureate degree in bioengineering degree, as well as his M.D. degree, with honors from the University of Colorado. Dr. Gray is currently associate clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Gray was the Chair of the Utah Youth Suicide Prevention Task Force for over a decade. He is the residency training director at the U of U School of Medicine for the child and adolescent psychiatry residency program, and the Triple Board training program. Dr. Gray has taught core classes on multiple topics in child psychiatry, and has supervised hundreds of medical students and residents. Dr. Gray has numerous research awards and publications for his work on youth suicide, and most recently completed a treatment study in the juvenile justice system.
