Director Denis Villenueve puts a unique spin on the road movie with this Oscar®-nominated dramatic thriller. An adaptation of an acclaimed stage play, Incendies follows fraternal twin siblings Simon and Jeanne Marwan (Maxim Gaudette and Melissa Desormeaux-Poulin) who go to the Middle East at the behest of their recently deceased mother. As much of a mystery as it is a domestic drama and a plea for cultural and ethnic acceptance, this completely engrossing film features an emotional sucker punch of an ending that will leave you reeling for days.
