Greeting from First lady Mary Kaye Huntsman
and Amy Corroon, wife of Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon
Dear Friends, As Anne Morrow Lindbergh writes in Gift from the Sea, “Eternally, woman spills herself away in driblets to the thirsty, seldom being allowed the time, the quiet, the peace, to let the pitcher fill up to the brim.” As honorary chairwomen of this year’s conference, it is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us for a day of learning and luxury at KUED's ninth annual Speaking of Women's Health Conference. This year’s theme is Discover Your Everyday Super Heroes Speaking of Women's Health is a day of pampering, recharging and re-balancing. Most of all, it is a day for finding our center with the support of other women. At times, we can feel that we lose our sense of grace. Speaking of Women’s Health helps us reconnect with our inner grace. Whether it is through becoming better informed about healthier eating, knowing when to schedule preventative medical exams, or improving ways to manage our time and finances, women of every age will gain information that will make them stronger, healthier, and more in charge of their lives. Speaking of Women’s Health helps us “fill the pitcher up to the brim.” Please join us Saturday, September 13, 2008 for a day of pampering, empowerment and valuable health information at Speaking of Women's Health 2008. Sincerely, Mary Kaye Huntsman and Amy Corroon
