Some new things happening this year that we are excited to share with you!
You can now download a reading log from KUED or at your local library to track your reading hours. Librarians and community partners listed below will have also have materials on hand at their locations.
Once you have completed your reading goals come back online to this webpage between November 24th, and January 2nd, 2009, and enter your hours on our new online Super Reader form.
With a parent, guardian, librarian or teacher enter your hours and the information into the new log sheet.
You’ll be able to see your minutes grow as you enter them!
Remember you must enter all information or at the end the log sheet won’t be able to print out your Super Reader Certificate and Invitation to the Super Reader Party!
The hours have increased a little this year but only because we are giving you more time to read:
Preschool to 2nd Grade – 8 hours – That’s just 20 minutes a day
3rd through 4th Grade – 9 hours – That’s just 23 minutes a day
5th Grade and Up – 10 hours – That’s just 26 minutes a day
So grab a good book, find a cozy spot to read and get Reading!
We’ll see you at the Super Reader Party with our friends Curious George and the Man With the Yellow Hat!
