Told in their own words through audio cassette voice recordings shared between parents and son, and augmented by the memories of family members and service buddies who walked side-by-side with Brett in the fields of combat.
There is a little-noted crossroads point in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. A small corner of our urban landscape, it has shaped the lives of virtually every resident of Utah for more than one hundred years. For some Utahns, inversion season is simply annoying. It means eye-and-throat irritation and a less-than-picturesque view. For others the pollution is a serious threat that exacerbates existing health problems and makes Salt Lake City virtually unlivable in winter.
